Regis School Counselor – Social/Emotional
Reports To: Regis Middle & High School PrincipalLocation: Regis Catholic Schools
Status: Full-Time
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field
- Current Wisconsin School Counselor Certification
- Commitment to Catholic education; practicing Catholic preferred
- Approved by Principal and President
The Regis Middle & High School Counselor supports the social and emotional well-being of students in grades 6–12. This role provides individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, and crisis intervention, and collaborates with faculty, families, and community partners to foster a supportive school environment rooted in Catholic values.
Key Responsibilities:
Social/Emotional Support:
- Provide individual and group counseling on issues such as anxiety, grief, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation
- Deliver classroom guidance lessons on self-awareness, empathy, healthy relationships, and coping strategies
- Implement evidence-based, trauma-informed, and inclusive approaches to student development
- Conduct regular focus groups (e.g., on anxiety, grief, mindfulness, cultural sensitivity)
- Provide monthly mental health instruction to middle school students through religion classes
- Refer students to outside agencies or professionals when needs exceed school resources
- Support student transitions (e.g., elementary to middle school, middle to high school)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
- Write monthly articles for parent newsletters related to student well-being
Academic & Career Development:
In collaboration with the Academic & Career Plan Coordinator:
- Assist students in developing and reviewing four-year graduation plans
- Monitor academic progress; notify and support students and parents when students are at risk of not meeting graduation requirements
- Registrar/Scheduler on course planning and credit tracking
- Support students with scheduling concerns and academic interventions
- Coordinate with public schools on IEPs/ILPs and student services
- Facilitate orientation for incoming 8th grade students and their families to ensure students have access to information on college and technical school admissions
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and administration to support student needs and goals
- Maintain accurate records of student meetings and services provided
- Support a positive, inclusive, and affirming school climate for all students
- Advocate for all students with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the guidance department’s annual budget
- Assist with sending final transcripts to post-secondary institutions

Academic & Career Planning Counselor/Registrar

Regis Catholic Schools is seeking a highly organized and student-centered School Counselor – Academic & Career Planning/Registrar to support the academic and post-secondary success of middle and high school students. This dual-role professional will collaborate closely with the Principal, faculty, and administrative staff to guide students in academic planning, course selection, college and career readiness, and scholarship opportunities. The successful candidate will also manage essential registrar duties, including student scheduling, records maintenance, and transcript processing. Ideal applicants will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling preferred, but may consider Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Education with applicable experience
- Valid Wisconsin School Counselor License (Preferred)

College & Military Visit Coordination:
- Schedule and promote college, military, and technical school visits.

Event Coordination & Recognition:

- Prepare certificates and assist with ceremony logistics and communications.

Before/After School Care Supervisors
Regis Catholic Schools is looking to employ responsible and dependable individuals to supervise students in grades K-5 in our before and after school care programs.
Availability must include weekday mornings from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and/or weekday afternoons from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Duties include providing a warm and caring atmosphere, maintaining a safe environment for activities and assisting with student check-in/out for attendance.

K-12 Substitute Teachers
Regis Catholic Schools is in need of K-12 substitute teachers.
Regis Catholic Schools is a consolidated system with three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.
Applicants do not have to be Catholic but they do need to understand Christian values.
Regis pays $130 per full day and $65 per half day of substitute teaching. If you work 4 hours or more, that is considered a full day of teaching. Anything less than 4 hours is considered a half day of teaching

Bus Drivers (PAID TRAINING OPPORTUNITY)
Regis Catholic Schools is looking for CDL licensed bus drivers to drive students to and from various activities throughout the year. This position would be on-call and employed on a part-time basis.
NEW: Regis will pay for the training and testing fees for individuals who are interested in becoming licensed bus drivers. (Please note: The training is approximately 25 hours in duration.)
Regis is in need of bus drivers throughout the school year - from field trips to athletic events. You pick the trips that work with your schedule; day trips, evening trips, weekend trips. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare required written reports.
• Physically capable of operating the vehicle as determined by a physical examination.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving.
