President

Regis Catholic Schools (RCS) is a fully accredited K-12 Catholic school system that is open to families of all faiths who identify with Our Core Values. RCS is made up of two child development centers, three elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. We are located in Eau Claire and Altoona, Wisconsin. As a Catholic School system in the Diocese of La Crosse, we are part of the ministry of our six governing parishes. Our schools assist parents in the mission of educating their children in a Christ-centered environment.

RCS is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to serve as the next system President. The President is the chief administrator of the school system and, in collaboration with the Dean and other members of leadership, bears the responsibility for the school’s operations and policies consistent with its Catholicity and in alignment with RCS Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

Minimum requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • A practicing Catholic
  • A demonstrated commitment to Catholic schools
  • Master's Degree in educational administration
  • Certified or certifiable in administration by the State of Wisconsin
  • Working knowledge of current Church documents related to Catholic schools
  • Approval by the Dean of Regis Catholic Schools
  • Approval by the diocesan bishop and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools

A qualified candidate will be a proven leader who strongly supports the implementation of our strategic goals. He or she will have a strong and well-practiced Catholic faith, a passion for Catholic education, and be comfortable leading a dynamic team. With a visible executive presence in and outside of the school community, the President will guide in the advancement of our Catholic school system which has a rich history in the area.

Qualified candidates must successfully pass the background screening process through the Diocese of La Crosse. Candidates are expected to be available to assume the responsibilities of the position on July 1, 2020. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2020.

Assistant Girls Soccer Coach

Regis Catholic Schools is seeking candidates to fill the Assistant Girls Soccer Coach position starting March 2020.

The Girls Soccer team is a co-op between Regis High School and McDonell High School.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team while remaining focused on developing technical skills, teamwork, and a love of athletics
• Collaborate with other coaches across the network to build an excellent athletics program
• Model a Christian life style and support the beliefs of the Catholic Church. Incorporate prayer into games or practices
• Lead by example, promote good sportsmanship and show respect for players, opponents, other coaches, and contest officials
• Receive ongoing feedback and support from a leadership team, faculty, and parents Skills/Requirements
• Candidates should have coaching experience
• The coach will report to the Regis High School Athletic Director, and is responsible for the planning of practices and coaching of games
• Candidates must have knowledge of WIAA rules for their sport
• Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

K-12 Substitute Teachers

Regis Catholic Schools is in need of K-12 substitute teachers.

Regis Catholic Schools is a consolidated system with three elementary schools, one middle school and the high school.

Substitute teachers need to have a bachelor's degree, pass a background check and have a desire to work with students of varying ages.

Bus Drivers

Regis Catholic Schools is looking for CDL licensed bus drivers to drive students to and from various activities throughout the year. This position would be on-call and employed on a part-time basis.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Wisconsin school bus driver's license.

If you need to get a license, you must complete the following:

- CDL Test
- School Bus Endorsement
- Passenger Endorsement
- Pre-Trip Inspection Before Road Test
- Road Test

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate the vehicle assigned and demonstrated knowledge of all requirements for school bus drivers as prescribed by state traffic laws.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare required written reports.
• Physically capable of operating the vehicle as determined by a physical examination.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving.

The pay is $15/hour.
