Head Cook (St. Mary's Elementary School)

The Head Cook is a part-time, school-year position. This person will work one to two days before and one to two days after the school year as determined by either the Food & Nutrition Director or Building Principal. The Head Cook will work approximately four (4) – five (5) hours per day during the school year.

Physical Demands: Continual standing, walking, pushing and pulling, frequent stooping, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and carrying. Moderate exposure to extreme hot and/or cold temperatures.

  • Ensures compliance with local health department and DPI food service regulations.
  • Responsible for acting in compliance with the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program.
  • Prepares and serves meals in compliance with the Wisconsin Food Code and DPI regulations.
  • Maintains daily production records, temperature logs, and other spreadsheets as determined by the Food & Nutrition Director in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for following the menu as written by the Food & Nutrition Director.
  • Seeks approval if changes to the menu are needed.
  • Responsible for upholding standards of practice in the inventory procedures.
  • Maintains safe food handling standards as determined by the Wisconsin Food Code and the Eau Claire County Health Department.
  • Assist with special events as directed by the Food & Nutrition Director and/or Building Principal.
  • Assists in the ordering process.
  • Set up and break down of serving lines and supplies.
  • Responsible for proper use and care of equipment.
  • Assist with system Wellness Committee.
  • Wash dishes and student trays, clean and sanitize cafeteria and kitchen following lunch hour.
  • Communicate with the Food & Nutrition Director, demonstrate a cooperative manner, a willingness to work where needed, and assist until assigned jobs are completed.
  • Contribute to positive interpersonal and interdepartmental communication.
  • Deal with crisis or problem situations in a calm, tactful, professional manner.
  • Demonstrate support of fellow employees and administration through actions and comments.
  • Attend meetings, workshops, conventions and training sessions when needed.
  • Confidentiality of RCS matters is required.
  • Comply with Diocesan and RCS regulations and policies.
  • Complete other duties as needed to ensure quality food service to students in our Catholic schools.

Assistant/Float Cook

The Assistant Cook is a part-time position. This person will work three (3) to four (4) hours per day during the school year. The Assistant Cook will assist in preparing and serving quality food to students in a quick and pleasant manner. This person will also float among all of the various schools on an as needed basis.

REPORTS TO: Head Cook and Food Service Director

  • Assist with special events.
  • Help dish up and serve meals.
  • Set up supplies and break down serving lines.
  • Ensure sanitation and cleaning are demonstrated when serving.
  • Wash dishes and keep kitchen area clean.
  • Demonstrate proper use and care of equipment.
  • Demonstrate a cooperative manner, a willingness to work where needed, and assistance until assigned jobs are completed.

Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach

Regis High School is searching for an Assistant Girls Volleyball coach for the 2017-18 school year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team while remaining focused on developing technical skills, teamwork, and a love of athletics
  • Collaborate with other coaches across the network to build an excellent athletics program
  • Model a Christian life style and support the beliefs of the Catholic Church
  • Incorporate prayer into games or practices
  • Lead by example, promote good sportsmanship and show respect for Regis players, opponents, other coaches, and contest officials
  • Receive ongoing feedback and support from a leadership team, faculty, and parents

Skills/Requirements

  • Candidates should have coaching experience
  • The coach will report to the Regis High School Athletic Director, and is responsible for the planning of practices and coaching of games
  • Candidates must have knowledge of WIAA rules for their sport
  • Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Bus Drivers

Regis Catholic Schools is looking for CDL licensed bus drivers to drive students to and from various activities throughout the year. This position would be on-call and employed on a part-time basis.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Wisconsin school bus driver's license.

If you need to get a license, you must complete the following:

- CDL Test
- School Bus Endorsement
- Passenger Endorsement
- Pre-Trip Inspection Before Road Test
- Road Test

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate the vehicle assigned and demonstrated knowledge of all requirements for school bus drivers as prescribed by state traffic laws.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare required written reports.
• Physically capable of operating the vehicle as determined by a physical examination.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving.

The pay for the first year is $12/hour and $14/hour for the second year.
