About My Music Classroom

 Kindergarten:  Steady beat, using a singing voice, high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft.

1st Grade:  Singing games, steady beat, using a singing voice, tempo words.

2nd Grade:  Folk Dances and square dancing, singing games and reading rhythms.

3rd Grade:  Instrument Families, partner songs, recorder (BAG)

4th Grade:  Learning note names, playing recorder (Recorder Karate) 

5th Grade:  Learning to play ukelele, chords, playing in an ensemble (bucket drumming)
