In second grade, students practice many skills to help them throughout their lives. These skills include independence, critical thinking, responsibility, cooperation, respect, compassion, and curiosity. I encourage students to work through challenges and practice perseverence. This will allow students to learn through difficulty.
Students also have many opportunities to grow in their faith. We teach in a Christ-centered environment which includes weekly mass, daily religion lessons, prayer, visits from our school Priest, service projects, and much more. The students will be guided to find who Jesus is, how He works in our lives, and about the Sacraments.
