I am grateful for each day we have our fifth graders in school and for all parent support! Thank you for all of your efforts to make this a great year!
In math, we have moved from multiplication of whole numbers to decimals. In religion, we are moving from the Apostles’ Creed and onto the sacrament of baptism. In social studies, we are working on our Age of Exploration brochure. Our fifth graders recently participated in a simulation with Mrs. Smiskey as they navigated and explored the New World. In reading, we are working hard on different comprehension strategies. In writing, our new focus is the persuasive essay.Lastly, in science, we are learning about the properties of matter.
