Jamie has 18 years of dedicated experience in education—including seven years in administration and two years as a high school principal—bringing a wealth of expertise, leadership, and a deep-seated passion for student success.
Jamie’s educational journey comes full circle with this job. A proud product of our local Catholic schools, she attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School and was a member of the first 8th grade class at Regis Middle School. She graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Teaching and a Broadfield Science Minor. She received her Master of Arts in Education and Principal License from Viterbo University in July of 2019.
“I am profoundly grateful and excited for this opportunity to serve the community that shaped my own foundation, and to walk alongside our students as they discover God’s purpose for their lives,” she said.
Jamie started her teaching career at Holy Family Catholic School in Arcadia, Wisconsin. She was later hired in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District, where she has worked for the past 14 years. She started as the PBIS District Coordinator and was also asked to start School-Based Mental Health. Jamie continued to grow and expand the mental health supports in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District, which led to her position as the Director of Mental Health and Resiliency. She then accepted a combined role over the past two years as the Principal of Chippewa Valley High School (CVHS) and the Mental Health and Resiliency Coordinator. Chippewa Valley High School exists to serve the needs of high school students who are currently at risk of dropping out of school or who may be at risk of dropping out in the future.
Outside of school, Jamie is supported by her husband, their three children, and their black lab. You can frequently find her cherishing family time and happily playing chauffeur, driving her kids to their various sporting events.
“Returning to Regis is the honor of a lifetime,” she added. “I am incredibly excited for this new opportunity to use the experiences God has given me to serve, guide, and give back to the community that first nurtured my own faith and education.”
Arcadia Education assisted with the candidate search process for this position and brought Jamie forth as a candidate. Various stakeholders within the Regis Catholic Schools community assisted in the interview process.
