Regis Catholic Schools is proud to announce the creation of a new Mental Health Coordinator position, with Malia Clements filling this role. Clements previously worked as the School Counselor at Immaculate Conception Elementary School.
As the new Mental Health Coordinator, Clements will work closely with our school administrators and counselors to coordinate, facilitate, and implement a School Based Mental Health Curriculum Program and lead/coordinate consistent support services across the system. Clements has been in the Mental Health Counseling certification program at UW-Stout and will complete the requirements at the end of the 2020-21 academic year.
Our goal is to provide emotional support for our students and foster a safe and successful learning environment at all educational levels.
“I am beyond thankful to have the opportunity to grow professionally while also growing and improving the Regis Catholic Schools system by implementing a Mental Health program,” Clements said. “I look forward to continuing to build strong bonds with students and families alike.”
We would also like to announce Pam Foegen’s retirement. Foegen has served as the Pupil Services Director for the entire Regis Catholic Schools system for the past five years. She leaves her career in education after serving students and developing plans to meet their diverse needs.
"My job as Pupil Services Director took me down many paths,” Foegen said. “I had the best of all worlds working throughout the system developing relationships with many students, parents, and staff. The staff within the system are second to none and really care about kids and model deep faith.”
Please keep both Clements and Foegen in your prayers as they move forward to these new journeys in life.
