Regis Middle School Choir
The Regis Middle School choirs (6th grade choir, 7th grade choir, and 8th grade choir) provide students with the experience of working together towards a variety of social and musical goals. Students learn various musical and singing skills, including how to develop their voices to the fullest potential, and how to work as a team member in the ensemble. The choir performs music of many styles and periods throughout the year, and performs in a minimum of three concerts, including a fall concert, Christmas concert, and spring pops concert. Opportunities are also available for soloists or small ensembles to cantor in school masses. In addition, 8th grade choir members have the opportunity to study a solo piece, or a small ensemble piece, for the WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival in individual lessons, usually beginning in the spring semester.
