Forensics

Forensics is a co-curricular activity that provides students with and opportunity to develop, practice and master skills in public speaking and/or acting. The annual informational meeting is held mid-December marks the unofficial start of the Forensics season. Practice begins in early January and then the race is on to choose a category, find a suitable composition and master its performance so as to convince a panel of judges that the efforts earn a trip to Madison. Most of the season's ten tournaments are held on Saturdays. The season peaks in February and March; however, students qualifying for state or national competition may continue performing until the end of April or May. Ms. Judine Brey is the coach and welcomes any adult members of the Regis family who are willing to help judge and chaperon meets.
