Regis High School Choir
The Regis High School Choir is an ensemble that provides students with the experience of working together towards a variety of social and musical goals. The choir performs music of many styles and periods throughout the year, and performs in a minimum of four concerts, including a fall concert, Christmas concert, Pops concert, and spring concert. In addition, each student has the opportunity to study a solo piece for the WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival in individual lessons, usually beginning in the spring semester. The choir also performs for a number of all-school masses, for holiday parties and luncheons, and performs annually in the WSMA Large Group Choral Festival at Memorial High School in April. Opportunities are also available for soloists or small ensembles to cantor in school masses, and to sing the National Anthem at Regis sporting events, as well as other events. The choir also tours every two years, having performed in cities such as Chicago and New York City in the past four years. During non-touring years, the students have the opportunity to attend a musical or dinner theatre performance, usually in the Twin Cities. Being a member of the Regis Choir provides students with wonderful musical and cultural experiences.
